Bunny Friend Neighborhood Association is hosting a Book Festival for Upper 9th Ward families! Children will receive over 1,000 free books, along with free food, sno-balls, spoken word performances, and family-friendly activities celebrating literacy, creativity, and community.

Bunny Friend Neighborhood Association, in partnership with 9X Divas, hosted a school supply giveaway for Upper 9th Ward residents. Families received free backpacks filled with essential school supplies, along with sno-balls and treats for the kids.

Bunny Friend Neighborhood Association partnered with City of New Orleans, Marais, WaterWise Gulf South Collective to gather resident feedback on neighborhood flooding during rain events. This community-driven data is essential to improving drainage systems and building a more flood-resilient Upper 9th Ward.

Bunny Friend Neighborhood Association partnered with Lace Xclusive Salon Barber & Spa and the 9X Divas to host a fun-filled Easter Giveaway for our community. Families enjoyed free Easter baskets, delicious food, refreshing sno-balls, and an exciting Easter egg hunt for the kids.
